@ Schroedingers Cat, You are right! Thank you for pointing that out. I have updated the article to add the permissions and ownership first, then activate swap. Added “sudo” for swapon.

I followed instructions exactly…so ran in to small issue.
1) permissions and ownership should be before trying to turn swapon
2) swapon required sudo

The command to turn on the swap is
swapon -s /swapfile
==> The content above misses the “/swapfile”
